Katrina Kelly Unveils New Charms for Charity::New York, New York – Reported by Elite Traveler, the private jet lifestyle magazine

New York, New York – Reported by Elite Traveler, the private jet lifestyle magazine

Jewelry designer Katrina Kelly has launched the latest iteration of her popular 7 Layers of Love collection. Building on the success of the line’s ultra-feminine rings, the new series of charms will be available at top retailers, select Neiman Marcus locations and on Kelly’s official website, www.katrinakellyjewelry.com.

“The 7 Layers of Love collection is a personal expression of love's many meanings and forms, so designing the charms, which lie closer to the heart, was a natural next step as well as something that was in demand,” explained Kelly. Consisting of seven charms—luck, light, laughter, love, loyalty, life and lover—the collection features 18K yellow gold in a mixture of satin and high polish finishes, in addition to subtle hits of sparkle in the form of diamonds and colored gemstones. The charms themselves are displayed on vintage chains, culled by the designer from antique shops and estate sales across the country.
Proving that pretty is as pretty does, 10 percent of all proceeds from the collection’s “life” charm will go towards Step Up Women's Network, an organization that strives to connect and empower women and girls through networking and mentorship. One of the stars of TV’s hit series Modern Family, actress Julie Bowen, is a proud owner of the charitable charm.

VALENTINE’S DAY JEWELRY GIFT IDEAS:: idazzle, an insiders guide to jewelry

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. Chocolate is fine, but with great chocolate available at most grocery check-out stands, is it really that special? Plus, it goes straight to the hips. An iPad would be great, but, I hate to break it to you, I think they’re getting that for themselves. Flowers are just so “I couldn’t think of anything involving planning ahead, so I picked these up on the way”. And don’t even think about the Breville panini press. Trust me on this. BUY LOVE HERE
Jewelry is just so superior to all of these options: no calories, and doesn’t die/wilt/require care and feeding. It’s romantic, personal, lasting, and might just invoke some emotions that you will be the happy recipient of. It’s WIN/WIN/WIN. www.idazzle.com
Here is a rundown of some of the favorites I have seen this season, and honey, these are not your basic hearts.
Katrina Kelly makes a number of gorgeous, intricate charms that get a sentimental point across. I love how she hand picks vintage chains to go with the charms, it really adds to the piece:
